She saw that the green light was on, but she could not perceive it... The people in the vehicle waiting behind were accompanying the horn sound with hand gestures. She stopped looking at himself from the outside and stepped on the gas at the last moment. She seemed to be living life on autopilot lately. When did she become so unconscious?
It was as if everything had suddenly turned upside down, like a truck whose brakes had gone downhill. It seemed like that, "But the truth is not like that," said Hande's inner voice. Because coming events cast their shadows before. She thought.
How did it get to this point?
The process that started the decline came to her mind. Murat's voice saying "We come into the world once, that's all, don't worry" was still in her ears. They received significant offers for the data analysis program they developed. Hande got Murat's excitement and accepted the highest offer without doing any research. She had never even thought about why Murat was so willing to work with this company.
The contract phase of the work was a process that had to be carried out meticulously. After all, they had to give a guarantee to the company. Time was required for after-sales consultancy, training and industry adaptation of the program. Murat stepped in at this point and responded positively to every request, saying "let's get the money and we'll handle it anyway."
Hande did not speak out about what was happening because she did not want to lose Murat. She said yes to every request Murat made and tried not to make him angry or upset. She was spending time with Murat, at least three days a week with the excuse of working overtime.
Why had she ignored the signs?
Even though they were just business partners at the beginning, Hande put Murat in the middle of her life over time. That's why she turned a deaf ear to all the warnings and signals coming from outside and ignored all the signs. Murat was obtaining companies' financial data, buying and selling prices and customer information through the program and selling them to rival organizations.
He had already made the company a front for making a lot of money quickly. He was literally using Hande for his own benefit. Since Hande had all the signing authority, he acted very easily.
It took Hande years to become the most reliable and sought-after software developer in the industry, but it was only a matter of time before she lost her credibility.
She had to make a choice now. Even though all the evidence was clear, Hande could not do what she had to do.
Could she choose the right one?
She had to choose between her life and Murat. Life seemed so good with Murat. But, he was harming Hande. How was she going to get this man out of her life? It was very clear the answer she would get if she uploaded the data to the software she made, but Hande was still agonizing. She thought… Doing the right thing has never hurt this much…
In fact, Hande had always been the person to be consulted until today. she took sensible steps and analyzed the events and situations she encountered very well. So what happened that Hande was openly used and deceived? How did she fall?
